Welcome to the Rowan Class Page

Welcome back for the penultimate half-term of year six!

We hope you have had a lovely Easter break and are looking forward to the jam-packed term ahead!

With SATs fast approaching (13th - 16th May), we continue to support the children with their revision, in school. We appreciate your sustained support with this, engaging alongside your children at home with the revision websites found on our homework page.

Within our topic of ‘How can we live a happy and healthy life?’, this half-term we will learn how to stay strong in both our minds and our bodies. In our Design and Technology lessons (D&T), we will create a healthy food product for Mr. Armeni to consume during the half-time breaks of his football matches. We will also be exploring how to stay positive when faced with challenge and how to manage our emotions, during our RSHE lessons. We hope these lessons will help us to make healthy choices and feel good as we continue into adulthood.

Other notices

This half-term, our PE days are TUESDAY and THURSDAY. Please ensure you have the correct kit in school on both of these days (our sport this half-term is ROUNDERS, therefore trainers and outdoor kit is required).

Should you have any questions, please grab me at the end of the day or organise a meeting so that we may discuss any concerns you have, thoroughly.

Please keep an eye on this page for news, photographs and relevant updates regarding our learning in Rowan Class. Should you wish to get in touch electronically, please email rowan@robertbakewellprimary.com.

Many thanks. We’re looking forward to a busy half-term!
