Living and working in Space

To conclude our Space topic, we took part in an interactive workshop this week hosted by the National Space Centre. We discovered lots of fascinating facts about how astronauts train and prepare before heading to the International Space Station as well as how their spacesuits are designed to protect them from the many hazards of space - from micrometeorites to extreme cold. Thank you to the National Space Centre for a ‘cosmic’ afternoon!
