Art 13/02/24

This week in Art, we worked on creating our own clay pumpkin. This was inspired by the Yayoi Kasuma’s own paintings and sculptures that we have been learning all over the last few weeks. We created our templates ourselves using card and moulded the clay using our hands to create the pumpkin shape. We then used appropriate tools and resources to create lines and dots on our pumpkins. We can’t wait for them to dry so we can paint them as well!
