Welcome to the Beech class page

Welcome back to the Summer term. We hope you have had a fun and restful break and are ready for our new topic.

Our learning question for this half term is ‘What animal would you like to be?’

Through this question we will be focusing on what characteristics help us identify if an animal is a bird, fish, reptile, amphibian or a mammal. We will also be discussing different habitats and diets such as carnivore, herbivore and omnivore.

In art we will be focussing on the artist Steven Brown and his famous set of painting the McCoo’s based on the highland cows. In RE the focus will be why Easter has been celebrated by many Christians. In RSHE we will be looking at relationships and the British value focus of Individual berty.

Mrs Altimas is your class teacher supported by Miss Allan and Miss Jones.

Ms Mistry supervises the outdoor learning area.

Our PE days are Monday and Tuesday.
