Class news

Welcome back to the summer term!

I hope you all had a lovely Easter. Activities will now be uploaded on the home page on the #virtuallearning tab.

There is now a new page which I will be uploading children's work on to. If you would like your child's work to be uploaded please send it to the office!

I would love to see lots of your hard work!

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email them to the school office who will then forward them to me.

Miss Hayden

I hope you are all well and staying safe at home!

After a technical hitch I have managed to upload your Maths and English work ready for when you have completed your project work. I have created a new page called 'working from home'. All work will now be posted on there for you!

Remember you can keep in touch with me by posting on twitter. I will be checking this everyday. You can upload pictures of work that you would like to show, or just a picture of something that you have been doing that you would like to show!

It is a good idea to make a timetable of your daily routine, to make sure you are never bored and keeping those brains ticking over!

Remember to get lots of exercise, in your garden or a 30 minute walk from home. You can also do P.E with Joe Wicks at 9am every morning on Youtube. Getting lots of exercise will make you feel happy and energetic! Although don't go for a walk in the hail like my daughter and I did today! cheeky

Parents if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email the office and they will forward this on to me.

Have a lovely week!

Miss Hayden

I hope you are all well and had a lovely weekend!

You should begin your work pack today and have a look at which project you would like to do first!

Whilst the weather is lovely try to get some fresh air outside if you have a safe outdoor space!

I will be updating our class news page as much as possible with activities and news so keep checking for updates and things to do!

Miss Hayden

Roman Homework

As part of our light topic in Science we explored shadows. The children made their own models and tested what happened to the shadows when the torch moved!
This half term we are studying the novel 'Romans on the Rampage!'. The children have been discussing the features of a historical tale. Today the children produced a freeze frame of a scene from the novel and hot seated the characters.

This half term in Science, the children will be learning all about Light. In our first lesson we considered the importance of light and what life would be like without it! The children identified sources of light and objects which reflect light. Ask them to identify the light sources at home!

We have had a very interesting visitor to our school this morning! The children have been recruited as Legionnaires into the Roman Army! They have learned all about what life as a Roman soldier is like, the equipment they would need and the formations they would have to learn!

The children have been studying the last of the Explorers from our Explorers and Adventurers topic, Amelia Earhart and David Attenborough. The children have studied Earhart's famous Trans-Atlantic flight and have been preparing their own David Attenborough style documentary!
