This term we will be working on the Stone Age.
Dad came back from Africa with a great present. A cocoa nut, seen in the pictures above, which when split in two meant that we could see small white cocoa beans in a sticky gluey white centre. Not to be confused with the coconut the cocoa pod is where we get chocolate from. A lot of these pods are grown in West Africa in the Tropics. Once taken out and eaten they taste like chocolate but, not as sweet as we get as there was no added sugar. So far this term this is the most interesting item I have seen in class. Of course, I am sure there will be more to come from others in the class.
Thanks to Alexis and dad. It came back from the Cameroon. Now can anyone show me where this is on a map of Africa? Class point to all those who can.
